The Old Albufeira Cemetery (1867) and the adjacent garden, remain a point of pray and devotion, but also a point of connection and leisure since it's integrated with the urban mesh.

Known for having a prime location with superb views of the old town, the “cemetery garden” (as it is known) is a natural viewpoint while establishing a bridge of connection and interaction for the people living and passing by this area of the city, since old times...

... meanwhile recently there was a municipal intervention that came to put this situation in jeopardy, and instead of improving the existing situation, it didnt..

Facing this, we felt the need to present a different solution
